Central Islip to get $10M from state to revitalize downtown

Artist’s Sag Harbor home gets price cut to a ‘bargain’ $795K

Andrea Grover, the artist and executive director of Guild Hall of East Hampton, has slashed the ask of her shingled Sag Harbor home to $795,000, making it “one of the few bargains around,” according to the New York Post. The 1,650-square-foot home at 56 Pine Neck Lane was built in 1930, Curbed reported. Grover, who was a curator for the Century Arts Foundation at the Parrish Art Museum until being hired by Guild Hall in mid-2016, bought the home for $525,000 in 2010. She listed the home for $825,000 in December 2018. The most federal tax records for Guild Hall show that Grover earned $64,113 in total compensation from the nonprofit cultural institution for her partial year of employme新爱上海同城对对碰论坛 上海同城对对碰交友社区nt in 2016. Her predecessor, the retired Ruth Appelhof, earned nearly $210,000 from Guild Hall that same上海龙凤论坛 新上海贵族宝贝论坛 year. Host Hotels paid $610 million for 1 Hotel South Beach, marking a new per-room record for Miami-Dade hotel sales at $1.42 million a key.

Barry Sternlicht’s Starwood Capital Group and LeFrak sold the luxury beachfront hotel at 2341 Collins Avenue, according to a press release. Starwood affiliate SH H上海千花社区 上海千花网交友otels Resorts will continue to operate and manage the 429上海贵族宝贝 上海千花网龙凤论坛-room hotel.

Hodges Ward Elliott brokered the deal.

The property was previously under contract to billionaire Michael Dell’s MSD Capital for about $500 million, or more than $1 million per key, the Commercial Observer reported in September, but that deal fell through.

Host Hotels, one of the largest lodging real estate investment trusts, owns 88 properties in the U.S. and five abroad totaling about 52,000 rooms. Billionaire Richard Marriott and his brother Bill Marriott spun the company off from Marriott International in 1993.

In South Florida, Host Hotels owns the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort Spa, the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay, and YVE Hotel Miami, according to its website.

Sternlicht redeveloped the former Gansevoort Hotel property, built in the 1970s, into 1 Hotel Homes with joint venture partner LeFrak. The hotel, which opened in 2015, features three restaurants, four pool decks, 57 cabanas and[……]

During a particularly down time for the Upper East Side co-op market, the Nasser family is putting a Fifth Avenue penthouse on the market for $52 million!

The home, at 990 Fifth Avenue, was bought by the family in the early 1980s, the Wall Street Journal reported. The 14-room triplex features hand-carved moldings, five fireplaces and large windows facing Central Par上海千花网龙凤论坛 上海千花社区k. It also includes a private entry gallery, a dining room that seats 14 people, a library and a terrace that surrounds the master suite. The building上海千花网 爱上海同城对对碰 was designed by Rosario Candela, and the apartment was recently renovated.

The family made its fortune in textile manufacturin爱上海同城 爱上海g, Rafael Nasser told the Journal爱上海同城论坛 爱上海同城. Sotheby’s International Realty’s Harry Nasser, who’s Rafael’s cousin, has the listing.

The listing is coming to market as UES co-ops have become a tougher sell. They ve long been part of a prestigious and exclusive club — but a flood of brand-new projects have shifted some demand away. The change comes especially as more people are opting for the latest amenities, avoiding board approval or attaining more flexible financing.

Nasser listed the home several times prior to a renovation, most recently in 2014 for $50 million. He told the Journal that the previous aesthetic didn上海贵族宝贝交流区 上海贵族宝贝论坛’t help snag a deal because buyers are looking for a more contemporary look.[……]
